“We are part of a German group with annual revenue of more than 9 billion euros. In Finland, we have around 50 employees and revenue of approximately 45 million euros. The company was established in Finland in 1970,” says Mia Eklund, Managing Director of B. Braun Finland.
New Premises Supported Change
The move to The Front took place in spring 2020, when the company wanted to renew and modernize its working environment.
“We decided to develop our working culture and move to an open-plan office. Our previous premises in Munkkivuori were not suitable for that purpose,” says Juha Huhtala, Finance Director for B. Braun Nordic.
The new premises, located about one kilometer away, made it possible to implement the transition smoothly without significantly affecting employees’ daily routines.
The overall concept and practical functionality also influenced the decision to choose The Front.
“We also looked at other options in the area, but for example, the older buildings in Pitäjänmäki did not feel as attractive,” Huhtala explains.
“This property had plenty of parking spaces, and having a lunch restaurant was important to us because we were already used to that. The premises were spacious and bright, which also made the decision easier,” Eklund adds.

The Front’s location serves a variety of commuting methods well. The light rail line and train station are nearby, and the city center is also easily accessible by bicycle.

“The lunch has been really good, and our international colleagues have always praised it as well. Breakfast and surplus food options are also available,” Eklund says.
The car wash located in the parking garage and the bookable meeting facilities also receive praise.
